Contrast imaging is one feature of the GE Vivid 5 machine that is quite helpful. This increases the echo strength, allowing superior evaluation of even difficult-to-image patients.  

The GE Vivid 5 also offers Quantitative tissue velocity imaging, which captures moving images dynamically so as to keep them as high-quality, vividly-colored images. One of the stand-out features of the GE Vivid 5 is its customized report generation. Data and patient reports can be presented, stored, and generated however the ultrasound user would like. This information can be customized either at the scanner machine or at a separate workstation.
