Philips - BiPap Vision
Philips BiPap Vision Forums
I have a vision Bupap that is giving me an error code 205. I have removed the positive side and checked voltage it was 1.7V so it still had a charge. I have also taken the battery completely out and clean the solder out and re-soldered and ran tet still same error code. Is there a way to check the board to see if it is good or Bad?
RE: Philips - BiPap VisionI have a Bi-pap vision I replaced the battery (error code 205) the bipap is not charging the battery while it is running the voltage across the battery is 1.01 volts, when not running 1.04 volts after running all night still not charging. any Ideas?
RE: Philips - BiPap VisionHello,
I have Vision that had an error code related to the 3.6V Ni-CAD battery. I replaced the battery and let the unit charge for over 24 hours by placing the vent in standby. In doing the AC power fail test the audible alarm cuts off after a few seconds according to the manual it should be at least 15-20 min. Check vent light is lit. Any suggestions?
Thanks
RE: Philips - BiPap VisionI'm having issues with the blower valve cal. I have the 0.25" test orifice connected to the outlet and a tube connecting the pressure pick off port of the orifice to the proximal line of the Bipap. When I enter in the SJB command the blower valve cal starts but doesn't stop. The manual says it should complete in less than 10 minutes. The only thing I can think of is I'm using the wrong test orifice. Does anyone have any pictures of the 0.25" test orifice P/N 332353?
RE: Philips - BiPap VisionI have questions on the test setup. I have it connected to my service laptop and the the SJB command initiates the blower valve cal, but the test just keeps going. I think there's a problem with my setup and if you have pictures of the 0.25" test orifice that would be great P/N 332353
RE: Philips - BiPap VisionUnit will not stay in standby mode. Nothing is is hooked up to the patient outlet or in front of the unit causing back pressure. I have worked with these allot and have not seen this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
RE: Philips - BiPap VisionIs there a rule of thumb on how to set the difference between the Insp. pressure and the exp. pressure on a vision BiPAP is there a "number" that is customary for setting the difference between the two pressures? some RT's believe that it doesn't matter. I was once told by a pulmonologist that the difference between these two settings shouldn't be too far apart. In other words, if the IPAP is 20, the EPAP should be within 8cmH2O pressure difference. What is the best way to set the difference between the I and E pressures that would help the patient breathe better?
RE: Philips - BiPap VisionPlease can you explain what the term Ti/tot is and what this reading tells the practitioner about the patients condition
