Simple to operate, inexpensive, with limited features, these heavy, unwieldy pumps (known as "boat anchors" by technicians) are popular with veterinary clinics because they are difficult for animals to overturn. They can also be used for human infusion; use standard Baxter tubing. Heavy internal transformer sometimes bends out of line, causing "Motor Defect" alarms.            [b][i]Baxter has ended service on this product.
