3Replies8 years ago | GenesisPlus How to open the handpiece (2 screws easy - but the small metalic endpiece obviously has a couple of click-tabs) - would appreciate best method. Main problem - the mechanism for detecting the insertion of the 1.5 mm handpiece is permanently activated ... so a 390 warning message comes up and the system is stuck until the 1.5 mm distance guage is inserted and clicked into place. Is this a regular problem on these units? It has very low use 200k so I assume it was dropped or something. When I press on the outside of the handpiece it will sometimes "click" and all other functions will be available until I hear another click and error 390 will pop back up. Anyone have a service manual they are willing to share? Or for a reasonable fee could also work. Best, Mario Reply |
