Olympus continues to develop innovative solutions for minimally invasive surgery with the introduction of the world's first autoclavable 5 mm HD deflectable videolaparoscope - the ENDOEYE FLEX 5. This videolaparoscope represents a significant breakthrough in laparoscopic imaging by leveraging the distally mounted high-definition CCD and combining it with an advanced flexible tip design, which provides a complete 85° field of view from multiple angles to visually capture the desired location head-on, from above, or even from behind. The ENDOEYE FLEX 5 eliminates the need to change between 0° and 30° scopes intra-operatively. The autoclavable design also provides reprocessing cost savings.
