Welch Allyn CP 100
The CP 100 is a 12-lead resting ECG with optional MEANS ECG interpretation software for a second opinion. A high-resolution thermal printer generates full-sized standard and customized reports, while the lead quality graphic saves time by highlighting poor connections. A full alphanumeric keyboard and LCD screen allow for easy patient data entry. Welch Allyn’s more advanced CP 200 offers the same features as the CP 100 plus optional spirometry, a large color LCD screen, dedicated function keys, storage space for up to 50 ECGs or spirometry tests, and a cable interface to connect to the company’s CardioPerfect Workstation software.

Additionally, it supports USB flash drive and features one-touch operation (monitoring and recoding mode) with a real-time preview monitor. The Cardio7 is PC compatible through LAN, and has a memory large enough to store up to 120 patients, while also offering five-minute, long-term recording. This unit has both pacemaker and automatic arrhythmia detection.
GE Healthcare Portable ECG
The GE Healthcare MAC 800 is a lithium ion battery-powered portable ECG with a 7-inch high-resolution color TFT screen and an integrated carrying handle. It weighs only 3 kg. The microprocessor augmented automatic electrocardiograph has 10 leadwires and 12-lead simultaneous acquisition with programmable lead configuration. Seamless connectivity to GE’s MUSE and CardioSoft information systems enables streamlining of ECG workflow and provides immediate remote review or over-read of patient ECG data. Multiple communication options include LAN, modem, SD card and serial port. USB ports allow connectivity to an external keyboard, laser printer, bar coad scanner or magnetic card reader. The laser printer allows for full-size/A4ECG report printouts. The PDF output option ensures a common, readable format for storing and exchanging ECG data. XML output is also available.
Additional memory option saves up to 300 ECG records internally, and an SD card option allows offline ECG storage and transmission.
