Novation Awards Three-Year Contract for Carestream’s Radiology, Cardiology Healthcare IT Solutions

Carestream has been awarded a three-year agreement by Novation, a leading healthcare supply chain expertise and contracting company, to offer CARESTREAM Vue RIS+PACS, CARESTREAM Cardiology PACS and CARESTREAM Vue for Vendor-Neutral Archive to the members Novation serves. The agreement is in effect from May 1, 2013 to April 30, 2016, and contains the option for two one-year renewal extensions.

Carestream’s next generation RIS+PACS optimizes productivity and maximizes each healthcare provider’s investment. Web-enabled Vue for Radiology contains advanced native tools and is easily accessible to remote users. CARESTREAM Cardiology PACS consolidates review of echocardiography, cardiac cath, ECG, nuclear cardiology and hemodynamic results with easy comparison of priors. Carestream’s solutions support a single workflow for radiology and cardiology reading and reporting for greater efficiency and productivity. Vue Archive can help reduce data storage costs by supporting radiology and cardiology exams.

Other Novation agreements include Carestream CR and DR imaging systems for radiology, dental digital imaging systems, X-ray film and laser imagers.
