Trisonics Donates Ultrasound System to Hearts With Hope!

Trisonics is happy to have the opportunity to provide an ultrasound system to a mission for Hearts With Hope! The focus of the mission is to provide corrective heart surgeries to kids in Peru. Without this mission, none of the kids treated would be able to receive these life saving surgeries.

The team will spend two weeks in Peru, near Lima. They take a team of nurses, cardiologists, dentists, cardiothoracic surgeons and a complete surgical team. They spend the first couple days setting up and seeing patients, lining up the patients who will be receiving surgery/catheterizations starting on the second day after they arrive.

They average 20 surgeries, 30-40 catheterizations and 500 echoes during the two weeks we are there.

As you can imagine, none of this is possible without echocardiograms and Trisonics is proud to be a part of this mission.
