Alpha Source, Inc. Donates Over $320,000 in Defibrillator Equipment Parts to SE Medical Systems for Medical Missions

Alpha Source, Inc., a Wisconsin-based medical equipment parts distributor, donated over $320,000 in retail value of defibrillator replacement parts to SE Medical Systems, a full service anesthesia to x-ray independent biomedical service organization that supports various medical missions in the U.S. and around the world. The defibrillator equipment parts will be used during SE Medical Systems’ mission trips and the parts will also be assembled into ready-for-use defibrillator kits for any organization needing defibrillator parts for their mission work.

“Our goal is to serve as a repair depot for defibrillators for organizations doing mission work. The parts donated by Alpha Source will allow us to put together defibrillator rebuild kits that can be sent to any organization looking to service defibrillators for their missions. Alpha Source’s donation will help tremendously in our effort to provide needed medical care in places that otherwise would not receive the attention required,” said Dave Wayne, CEO of SE Medical Systems.

According to Norine Carlson-Weber, president of Alpha Source, “The challenges that mission workers face, especially when they are asked to fix medical equipment, is immense. The rebuild kits SE Medical Systems is putting together will help speed up the repair process of defibrillators which can impact the lives of many.”
