How to Adjust an Acuson Sequoia CRT Monitor

In today’s blog we are going to take a look at some additional tips from the Biomedical/Clinical Engineers at Trisonics concerning how to adjust an Acuson Sequoia CRT Monitor.

Have you ever replaced your CRT monitor because it looked fuzzy? According to the engineers at Trisonics, next time you should try to adjust it first before exchanging it out.

Here are 5 quick steps that will illustrate how to adjust the monitor!

 

Step 1: Remove speaker covers by pushing the tab up on the bottom and then remove the 4 thumb screws that hold the cover on.

Step 2: Remove both speaker cables on each side and the yellow molex connector on the right side.

Step 3: Slide the cover back and up to remove. Be careful not to break the tabs on the bottom of the cover.

Step 4: Adjust the fly back transformer located on the right side when looking at the monitor from the back.

Step 5: Once the monitor is adjusted, put the cover back on and reconnect all the cables and screws.
