In today’s blog we are going to continue with the preventative maintenance theme. Below you will find a tip from the Biomedical/Clinical Engineers at Trisonics concerning GE Healthcare’s LOGIQ 9 ultrasound system.

LOGIQ 9 Tip:

There are multiple versions of the LOGIQ 9 lower operator’s panel and they are not all interchangeable. The main label is attached on the bottom side of the lower ops panel, so to see it you have to remove the touch screen as well as the lower ops panel to flip it over and check the part number. There is a little trick to see the part number of the operator’s panel you have. On most versions it is also silk screened on the PCB right above the M mode encoder. Just pop off the knob and you can see the part number.
