Encompass Group, LLC names Janice Larson as VP

Encompass Group, LLC, one of the world’s leading manufacturers and marketers of reusable textiles, professional apparel, and disposable and single use medical products, announces that Janice Larson has been promoted to Vice President of Clinical Resources and Consulting.

As Vice President, Janice will be leading the Encompass Clinical Resource team, which is comprised of RN consultants and educators located across the U.S. “Janice and her team provide tremendous value to customers such as nurse clinicians and managers, nursing education, linen committees, environmental and laundry managers and staff, among others,” said Steve Berg, EVP of Encompass’ Healthcare Division.

Their mission is to educate and act as a clinical resource for customers, supporting Encompass’ various therapeutic, preventative and comfort lines of products, in addition to assisting with linen utilization and cost management. Some of their core activities include education (both CEU and in-service), clinical product evaluations and trials, linen management consulting, and serving as industry liaisons across a wide variety of trade and nursing associations.

Janice began her Encompass career in 1994 as its first linen cost management consultant in the Hospitex business unit of Baxter International, which was later spun off to form Encompass. Prior to that, Janice served in Baxter Corporate Consulting, where she led the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) education program for the Daughters of Charity hospitals in California.
