Summit Imaging CEO Lawrence Nguyen Receives “40 Under 40” Award

Summit Imaging Founder and CEO Lawrence Nguyen has been recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of the region’s 40 most influential business leaders under age 40. As a 2014 recipient of the coveted “40 Under 40” Award, Nguyen joins past and present honorees, including executives at Microsoft, Zillow, Umpqua Bank, and Clear Channel Outdoor, selected for their dynamic leadership and contributions to the Puget Sound community.

Nguyen founded Summit Imaging in 2006, refurbishing and selling parts for ultrasound systems out of his garage. Over the past eight years, Summit Imaging has grown to become a profitable 40-person operation providing technology enabled services to support high-end ultrasound systems across many different brands, due in large part to Nguyen’s commitment to core values including innovation, reliability, outstanding quality and customer satisfaction. Dedication to these core values has resulted in a 93 percent customer retention rate and consistent referrals from satisfied customers, which allow the company to continue growing without a dedicated sales and marketing team.

Each year, the Puget Sound Business Journal reviews more than 400 applications to identify the area’s most influential young business leaders. These applications are reviewed by an independent panel of past honorees of the “40 Under 40” Award and business leaders in the community. Nguyen and this year’s other honorees will be celebrated with a special issue of the Puget Sound Business Journal and a “40 Under 40” Awards ceremony in September.
