Things are heating up this spring for Sodexo’s Clinical Technology Management business.  As Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) professionals are hitting the conference circuit to see the latest upgrades and advances in medical technology, our team will be on-site to network with those who want to take their career mobile.

“This is because of a new, industry transforming agreement with Alliance HealthCare Radiology “ says  Steve Cannon, Sr. Vice President at Sodexo CTM. “This partnership allows us to grow our team of Imaging Service Engineers across the U.S. to maintain and service Alliance's fleet of mobile and fixed-base diagnostic imaging systems!”

In speaking with Steve, I found out how this allows Sodexo CTM to gain momentum in this quickly evolving field.

CR: What does the Sodexo/Alliance partnership mean for Imaging Technicians?

SC: Professional growth, travel, and continuing education and training in a true field service environment.

It’s a great time to join an organization that services 500 high-end imaging systems across 46 states. More than 350 systems are true mobile systems, providing diagnostic imaging services to multiple healthcare providers in different geographical areas across the country.

This relationship gives you the opportunity to service different types of high-end imaging equipment such as CT, PET-CT and MRI. You’ll cover a variety of systems and OEM’s such as GE, Siemens, Philips, Toshiba and Hitachi.  You can supplement your current skills with ongoing training for each of these devices.

CR:  What does an integrated asset management solution look like?

SC:  Maintaining sophisticated machines requires broad expertise and experience in high-end imaging.  Our Field Service Engineers (FSE’s) have remote diagnostic capabilities to connect to the imaging system and monitor operating parameters. Because Alliance is adding new equipment all the time, our team focuses on a total solution from capital planning, equipment selection, corrective repair and planned maintenance.

CR:  How does the Sodexo CTM organization impact Quality of Life?

SC: Our FSE’s play a vital role in patient care. Through a comprehensive service strategy and plan, our teams drive maximum reliability and efficiency of each imaging system.  As a result, the client’s clinical staff can deliver quality service with minimal disruption to the timeliness of patient care. This improves clinical staff satisfaction, patient care delivery and outcomes for patients. It also helps the client reduce their overall operating cost related to the management and maintenance of medical equipment.

If you want a change in your work environment and travel to different locations with the potential to move into imaging management, then join a team as innovative as the technology we manage. Being a part of a global network, Sodexo CTM gives you unmatched access to resources and training to expand your skills and grow your career.
