Every class also includes our Transducer Care and Maintenance course.
These classes will cover topics applicable to a sonographer’s practical use of a transducer and how image quality impacts their workflow. We will demonstrate a teardown of a TEE transducer and identify the major components and explain why failures occur. Proper care methods and techniques will be presented to help alleviate unnecessary problems.
Attendees will gain experience in the variations of lenses and arrays used in probes and their functionality, and the relation of image artifact along with quality and how it relates to care of the transducer. Summit Imaging will provide hands on examples of transducers in various conditions giving you the knowledge to diagnose and maintain your probes.
