This course covers servicing the major system components that make up the Image Intensifier-based ARCADIS Family platform covering the Varic, Orbic and Avantic models. It does not cover any other mobile/portable C-arm models.
Course Description:
Technical Prospects’ ARCADIS Family Training Course is a 3.5-day (Monday afternoon – Thursday) knowledge and skills development course designed for field service and support personnel. During this course, students engage in discussions, lectures and labs centered on the core principles of operation, configuration, troubleshooting and repair for all primary system components.
Prerequisites:
It is highly recommended that interested students have the following Knowledge/Experience;
- Completion of a Radiation Safety Training
- Two or more years of industry/military experience working with X-ray and Fluoroscopic equipment
OR
- Attendance of an OEM or Technical Prospects’ Introduction to X-ray or X-ray Basics course (Certificates may be requested)
Students are required to provide;
- Personal dosimeter
Outcome:
Upon completion of this training course, students will;
- Understand terms & symbols used by Siemens
- Identify, configure, troubleshoot and diagnose components of the ARCADIS Varic’s;
- C-arm systems
- Trolley and Monitors
- Syngo workstation
- Understand the relationships and interactions of all system components
- Successfully interact with and navigate the system’s Syngo software interface
- Perform configuration and adjustments via service software
- Troubleshoot and diagnose systems-based problems
