11. What advice do you have to anyone just graduating and entering into the HTM field?

Learn as many different aspects of our career field then find one to specialize in. Also, never be afraid to ask for more responsibility, training, and opportunities to be involved. Keeping up with the current trends and technology is a must since we see so many different devices, this will help to be ready to support those new devices. Last, always have integrity in your work and never burn a bridge or leave on a low note. This career field is small and it is almost guaranteed someone you know or work with, knows someone, somewhere else.

12. What else should we know about you?

I was lucky to find this career field by way of signing up for the Air Force. The DoD BMET school was the best the experience and prepared me for any situation. It took years, multiple roles, and some really good and really bad managers, for me to get a good grasp of what works and what does not. I hope to see this career field grow in the right direction and cannot wait to see what happens in the next few years.
