This course covers the major system components that makeup the Sensation Family system platform; specifically covering the Sensation 10, 16, 40 and 64 slice systems.

Course Description:

Technical Prospects’ Sensation Family Training Course is an 5-day (Monday – Friday) knowledge and skills development course designed for field service and support personnel. During this course, students engage in discussions, lectures and labs centered on the core principles of operation, configuration, troubleshooting and repair for all primary system components.

Prerequisites:

It is highly recommended that interested students have the following Knowledge/Experience;


    • Completion of a Radiation Safety Training
    • 2 or more years of industry/military experience working with CT equipment

OR

  • Attendance of an OEM’s Introduction to CT or CT Basics course (Certificates may be requested)

Students are required to provide the listed equipment;

  • Personal dosimeter

Outcome:

Upon completion of this training course, students will;

  • Understand terms & symbols used by Siemens
  • Identify, configure, troubleshoot and diagnose components of the Sensation Family
    • Gantry and Table systems
    • Power Distribution
    • Water Cooling systems
    • Image Control and Reconstruction systems
  • Understand the relationships and interactions of all system components
  • Successfully interact with and navigate the system’s Syngo software interface
  • Perform configuration and adjustments via service software
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose system problems based upon error codes
  • Perform the recommended bi-annual Preventative Maintenance procedures
