Course Description:

Technical Prospects’ Online Introduction to Siemens syngo course is an online knowledge and skills development course designed to prepare the student with the necessary information and skills to operate within the syngo software platform. Broadly, this course is designed to teach the overlying theory, concept and implementation of the Siemens syngo application from a non-modality specific perspective.

Prerequisites:

It is highly recommended that attendees have at least 2 years of industry experience either as a support engineer or as a healthcare IT or HTM staff member. Additionally, attendees must be PC hardware, software and DICOM knowledgeable.

Students are required to have reliable access to;

• Personal Computer/Laptop
• Internet Connection

Outcome:

Upon completion of this training course, students will;

• Understand terms & symbols used by Siemens
• Define what syngo is and what role it plays in the usage of any current Siemens System
• Become failure with the terms used within the syngo environment
• Identify the primary roles the syngo application provides
• Understand the relationship the syngo application has with the underlying OS
• Interfacing syngo with DICOM
• Perform syngo software installation and configuration
• Perform basic syngo application administration and database maintenance
• Perform basic syngo/network troubleshooting
