New Year, New Locations for MSBS

Mountain States Biomedical Services expands footprint with new location sites and new employees.

Mountain States Biomedical Services (MSBS) kicked off the new year with some new changes and locations! MSBS's specializations include contrast injector, medical laser, dialysis machine and general biomedical maintenance and repairs. Jonathan Howell, CBET, CHTM, and Operations Manager at Mountain States Biomedical Services, provided insight into this exciting news.

"We hired new technicians in Charlotte, Washington DC and Texas," said Howell. "I just recently bought a house in Houston, so we are really expanding our Texas presence."

In addition to hiring new medical equipment technicians, MSBS expanded their services to Houston, Texas, Washington D.C., Charlotte, North Carolina, Eugene, Oregon and Rochester, New York. These expansions increase the company's locations to a total of nine, including Denver, Colorado, Columbia, Missouri, Seattle, Washington and Los Angeles, California.

When asked if MSBS faced any challenges expanding, Howell answered, "2020 was a good year for us. We expanded to a lot of new locations and branched out to several new manufactures. Training new employees on the new products has been difficult during the coronavirus. Several cancelled or rescheduled trainings."

Howell noted that more technicians in more locations will afford MSBS the opportunity to service their customers without the delay of air travel. "We plan to continue to expand and add technicians once the coronavirus as passed on and training becomes less difficult," concluded Howell.
