Overview
RSTI has partnered with Althea to bring Contrast Injector Training to the Radiological Service Training Institute. With a 2-1 student to equipment ratio, this hands-on training course is designed to train service professionals on preventative maintenance and simple and complex repairs for contrast injector models from all major manufacturers. Theory and hands-on sessions will develop the skills necessary to troubleshoot system failures and restore it to operation. The curriculum is centered around five main pillars:
1. Knowledge of Operation
2. Operational Functions
3. On-the-Spot Repairs
4. Parts Replacement
5. Preventative Maintenance
Training Models Offered
This course is tailored to fit the student’s individual needs. Students will train on a minimum of two contrast injector models per session with the option to train on up to four.
On-site training at your facility is available with four or more training participants, call for more information.

Prerequisites
To attend this course, the service professional must have a basic electronics background.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this course participants will be able to approach any contrast injector with confidence and knowledge on how all contrast injectors operate and will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic contrast injector theory
- Perform basic system repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Demonstrate how to use an Injector Service Tool Kit
