The S/5 Avance Carestation was developed through collaboration with clinicians. The compact, integrated anesthesia carestation features advanced anesthesia delivery, anesthesia patient monitoring and care information management. The Carestation is equipped with the 7900 SmartVent Ventilator, which features expanded clinical capabilities for spontaneously breathing patients, including Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation (SIMV) and PSVPro (Pressure Support with an Apnea backup mode). Consistent menus, quick key actions and alarm management minimize the need for training and reduce complexity during critical and non-critical events, the company says.
