GE OPTIMA PET/CT 560

Medical Dealer Magazine | Product Focus | GE Optima PET/CT 560

The Optima PET/CT 560 can accomplish a full head- to-toe scan in one pass. The dual-modality machine has a longer scan range than previous generations, designed for higher patient throughput with less need for repositioning. ASiR dose reduction technology on the Optima PET/CT 560 may allow for reduced mA in the acquisition of diagnostic images, thereby reducing the dose required. ASiR may deliver image pixel standard deviation equivalent to an acquisition with higher generator power. Optima PET/CT 560 offers advanced applications that enhance resolution.

SIEMENS BIOGRAPH MCT

Medical Dealer Magazine | Product Focus | Siemens Biograph CT

Biograph mCT brings reproducible quantification to PET/CT imaging and is engineered as a true dual-modality scanner. Available in CT configura- tions up to 128 slices per rotation, it offers the capability of full-body CT scans in 10 seconds, and whole-body PET scans in as little as 5 minutes. With a large 78 cm bore, short tunnel and a 550-pound table capacity, it is de- signed to improve patient comfort and accessibility.

PHILIPS INGENUITY TF PET/CT

Medical Dealer Magazine | Product Focus | Philips Ingenuity

Ingenuity TF combines the imaging performance of Astonish TF with the latest in Philips’ Ingenuity CT innovation, including iDose4 and SyncRight. Astonish TF uses Time-of- Flight (TOF) technologyto provide enhanced lesion detectability with reconstruction speeds as fast as 30 seconds/bed. iDose4 provides up to 80 percent reduction of dose while maintaining high image quality, fast reconstruction times and improved spatial resolution, the company says. Ingenuity TF allows you to see fully reconstructed images within minutes of acquisition with reconstruction technology.

GE DISCOVERY PET/CT 690

Medical Dealer Magazine | Product Focus | GE Discovery

The Discovery PET/CT 690 has 3D and 4D acquisition modes and features Motion Match, the next evolution of motion management that may help improve early diagnosis, staging, treatment planning and monitoring by addressing the clinical challenges in areas subject to motion, like the heart and lungs. The system features a lutetium-based scintillator and the company’s VUE Point HD in- telligent image reconstruction technology, which allows for small lesion detectability, a wide field of view and an optimized signal to noise ratio. The IBM BladeCenter processor reconstructs im- ages in minutes and can reconstruct 3D imaging and gated studies quickly. Motion Match is the next evolution of motion management that may help improve early diagnosis, staging, treatment planning and monitoring by addressing the clinical challenges in areas subject to motion. In partnership with Varian Medical Systems, the system offers an integrated respiratory patient monitor (RPM), enabling gated studies.
