The College of Biomedical Equipment Technology offers a variety of Information Technology and Networking Certificate Preparation Courses designed to enhance a students knowledge, skills and career readiness by using advanced simulation technology and one-on-one and group instruction. Students completing IT/Networking preparation courses are prepared for national certification exams.
This two-week course is designed for students entering the Diagnostic Imaging Service Field.
Hands-on lab time makes up approximately 80% of this course. Students will become confident in working on the gantry, patient transport, detector assembly, DAS, SRU, X-ray control systems, and operator workstation sub-systems. Special attention will be given to x-ray tube changes.
