The Syneron-Candela e-Matrix is an innovative skin care system that takes a non-invasive, non-laser approach to treating facial wrinkles, uneven skin tones, acnes scars and skin laxity for a wide variety of patients. The e-Matrix system bridges the gap between aggressive and nonaggressive laser and light techniques. It uses radio frequencies and doesn’t utilize strong lasers. Since it is completely non-evasive patients of various skin tones and skin sensitivities can be successfully treated (including darker skin tones). The Sublative system utilizes fractionated bi-polar radio frequency technology and places the heat energy effectively into the dermis where it can produce significant dermal impact with minimal epidermal disruption. It harmlessly penetrates skin surfaces to correct imperfection in the deeper, dermis skin layer. This technology is considered much safer and gentler than traditional fractional laser skin treatment. E-Matrix skin rejuvenation treatments can even be customized to the patient’s ideal dermal heating intensity and depth.            In the e-Matrix technology, energy is transmitted into the skin in a cone-like fashion, delivering more energy into the dermis while sparing the epidermis. This upside-down or inverted, mode of RF delivery is broad-based, allowing for a retained simulative effect on the dermis. The result is fewer complications at the skin surface such as superficial burns.            A unique feature of the e-Matrix is that it measures the impedance of the skin to be treated, it will tell you whether the shot is actually working or not by making a sound. If the head is not placed correctly, there will be a double beep, fired correctly, a single click sound. This is an improved feature of the table top e-Matrix. It is not available in the old system where it is mounted on the e-Max platform which can fit different treatment heads.
