DESCRIPTION

The Bernoulli software collects and distributes time-sensitive medical device data via wired or local network wireless technology. The Bernoulli software enables the review and surveillance of medical device alarms, settings, and real-time patient data remotely, using a standard HTML compatible web browser. Capabilities of the Bernoulli software include web browser access to a local area network (LAN) of medical devices for remote viewing. The use of a networked laptop allows care givers to roam within a wireless network and have real-time data and trended reports at hand.            Alarms that are transmitted from the monitored medical device appear visually and audibly at the central station display. In addition, if the optional Bernoulli paging system is being used, a text message is sent to a pager(s), displaying bed number, patient name, and alarm type.
