Lumenis - AcuBlade
DESCRIPTION
Scanning Micromanipulator - Extreme Precision - Reproducible ResultsThe Digigal AcuBlade scanning micromanipulator provides optimal accuracy during ENT surgery while ensuring patient safety. Lumenis's AcuBlade has two operating modes for smart tissue management - Circular Ablation as well as Linear Incision and Ablation. Circular Ablation Use the AcuBlade mocromanipulator to treat a variety of diseases - from recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP), to tissue debulking (neoplasia), and stapes surgeries in the ear. This superficial ablation removes lesions with minimal thermal damage. Linear Incision and Ablation The Digital AcuBlade micromanipulator delivers precise straight - and curved-line scans to incise and excise benign vocal cord nodules, polyps, and cysts from delicate vibratory structures -- all without injuring the vocal ligaments and with mininal negative effect on the voice. Incision shape, length, depth, and orientation are easily adjusted by the surgeon to meet the procedure demand. When the goal is to spare the organ and maximize function the Digital AcuBlade micromanipulator is an indispensable tool that can be used to safely excise cancer, treat strictures and stenosis, and other conditions that often carry greater risk of complication and reduced quality of life.
