ACP - Omnicycle Elite
by ACP

This advanced motorized rehabilitation system is designed for the complex needs of post-acute and geriatric patients. It accommodates patients who are unable to use traditional exercise equipment, allowing for earlier therapeutic exercise intervention than traditional cycle systems. The Omnicycle Elite facilitates upper- and lower-extremity exercise in three separate motor-assisted modes: "Assisted" (full motor-assist with a low level of patient participation), "Active-Assist" (partial motor-assist with active patient participation), and "Active" (no motor-assist with full patient participation). The Omnicycle Elite automatically shifts between exercise modes as it detects varying levels of patient participation. The system has been designed with a number of special features to accommodate the complex medical needs of aging adults, including direct wheelchair access, heart rate indicator, spasticity detection and voice command emergency "stop." In addition, the Omnicycle Elite includes a large color touch screen and interactive Biofeedback function to engage and motivate patients mentally and physically, to improve exercise participation and performance. At the end of each training session, the Omnicycle Elite produces a "Training Summary" to track patient progress. This patient summary is printable via an optional wireless Bluetooth® printer, for patient reporting and objective documentation data.
