In the wake of the amendment to VDIN6868-57, DIN6868-157 has established directives which stipulate the testing of illuminance in rooms in accordance with room classifications. The MAVOLUX 5032 C BASE  accurate and convenient measurement during the course of testing for diagnostics workstations. The MAVOLUX 5032 C BASE is a handy, special measuring instrument for professional use, and of course includes professional convenience features: compact dimensions, easy to operate and read, comfortable to carry in a practical case (optional accessory). The silicon sensor included with the MAVOLUX 5032 C BASE is color corrected, and its spectral sensitivity is precisely matched to that of the human eye. The instrument thus fulfills all requirements for class C luminance meters. The probe’s receiving surface is laid out such that obliquely incident light is evaluated as true to cosine. All important types of light can thus be measured very accurately, without having to take correction factors into consideration. Even powerful light, for example daylight and illumination from headlights, can be measured with the MAVOLUX 5032 C BASE without any accessories. Thanks to its very high initial sensitivity of 0.01 lux, the instrument is extremely well suited for measuring minimal illumination intensities as well, for example emergency lighting. The highest measurable value is 199,900 lux. The MAVOLUX 5032 C BASE is equipped with non-volatile memory for up to 100 measurement results. They can be processed directly at the instrument using the integrated keypad and display.
