Fully integrated laser workstation

The VISULAS® YAG III Combi from Carl Zeiss is the “multi-purpose” laser for retinal photocoagulation, secondary cataract treatment and for laser glaucoma therapies. At the push of a button, you can switch between posterior and anterior laser treatment. This high-performance combo device is designed for use even in rooms where space is at a premium. 

 Both lasers – the VISULAS YAG III and the VISULAS 532s – fit snugly beneath the instrument table, freeing up a large amount of space and ensuring ample freedom of movement. The VISULAS 532s is intended for use in photocoagulation, and the VISULAS YAG III is used for applications like posterior capsulotomy and iridotomy.

FEATURES

  • Space saving and flexible - Both lasers also perform effectively as individual units. The VISULAS 532s can be used in the operating room while the VISULAS YAG III can continue to be used with the combi laser slit lamp.
  • Only as much energy as necessary - The VISULAS YAG III Combi focuses the optimum amount of YAG laser energy directly to the target thanks to its Super-Gaussian beam profile.
  • Variable focus shift - Depending on the procedure the focal point of the aiming beam is set precisely and reproducibly before, behind or directly at the focal point of the disruption laser
  • Gentle laser treatment - The ParFocus™ zoom system of the VISULAS 532s delivers a homogeneous, sharply defined and reproducible laser spot on the retina and minimizes heat-related side-effects on the patient's cornea.
  • Navigating with fingertip precision - The coagulation laser is always visible in the center of the slit lamp illuminated field thanks to the coaxial illumination and electronic micromanipulator integrated into the joystick of the combi slit lamp.
