Video laryngoscope

The Storz C-MAC 8401 features stainless steel blades with pronounced flat form which enables endotracheal intubation even with reduced oral aperture. The image on the distal lens is acquired using a CMOS chip, which guarantees a field of view of approximately 80° (diagonal) which gives an optimal insight into the pharynx and larynx. The special design of the electronics prevents fogging of the lens.

Battery Replacement
A colleague is donating their old C-MAC 8401XDK to our medical mission- it was taken out of use due to the battery being depleted- is is possible to replace the built-in battery, or will I need to go directly to Storz for service? Reply
