Superb optics for total image clarity
TOPCON has re-designed the basic optical system for its SL-3 series slit lamp, improving overall image resolution and clarity, and reducing operator fatigue during extended examinations. For the SL-3FD, TOPCON has even added a sophisticated multi-coating to optical surfaces, which totally eliminate flare or ghost images.

FEATURES
- Brilliant halogen illumination - strong, even lighting that enhances observation.
- Smoother more delicate positioning control - the more delicately the unit can be positioned, the greater the observation and diagnostic benefits.
- Versatile slit beam inclination - incline the illumination axis up to 20° from the observation axis. This oblique angle also makes it easier to obtain horizontal optical sections.
- Two fixation targets - equipped with both an annular fixation target, adjustable from -15 to +10 diopters, and a spot target for external fixation
- Built-in filters - a convenient lever mounted on the illumination column makes it simple to insert any of the four built-in filters into the optical path
