The QuickSlide Plus stainer represents a significant advancement in automated slide staining and is a valuable addition to any laboratory, whether it is the primary stainer used by small hospitals, physicians labs, stat labs, or used as a stat/backup instrument in larger labs. The QuickSlide Plus can also be utilized in veterinarian labs for a variety of biological specimens. The QuickSlide Plus is one of the smallest automated slide stainers available. It requires only one square foot of counter space. In addition to its small size, the QuickSlide Plus reagent system is included in the one square foot. The QuickSlide Plus can stain a blood smear in as little as 60 seconds. In addition to the rapid staining, the QuickSlide Plus eliminates cross contamination seen in the dip method and yields consistent results no matter who stains the slide. In addition to staining peripheral blood smears, the QuickSlide Plus has a special program that allows it to stain bone marrow samples. The QuickSlide Plus also allows operator to adjust both stain and buffer times.
