The Gas Module 3 incorporates improved Artema technology that enables respiratory gas analysis, displayed on our Passport 2®, Spectrum® and Spectrum OR™ lines of monitors - already standards of comprehensive vital signs monitoring excellence worldwide. The Gas Module 3 delivers state-of-the-art gas analysis capabilities: identification and measurement of inspired and expired O2, CO2, N2O, and any one of the following five anesthetic agents - Isoflurane, Sevoflurane, Desflurane, Halothane, and Enflurane. - Technology: NDIR type gas analyzer measuring at 3.9 – 12.8 μm with paramagnetic oxygen sensor. Pressure, temperature and full spectral interference correction.

- 200 mL/min sample flow rate for adult/pediatric water trap, and 120 mL/min with neonatal water trap.
- Uses a non-dispersive infrared analyzer measuring the absorption of the gas sample at seven infrared wavelengths.
- 2.5-second sampling delay
- Water trap that removes water and impurities from the patient sample.
- Analyzes patient sample at a fixed rate.
