The machine hardware was working normally before, but the original SATA hard drive was removed by a previous technician and is no longer available. Because of that, the system currently has no operating software installed. I am looking for guidance on how to obtain or restore the original EKO 7 system software, recovery media, installation software, or a compatible hard drive image. We still have the DynamicMR™ USB Stick. A few questions: Is there an official or independent way to recover the EKO 7 software using the machine serial number or system information? Does Samsung Medison provide recovery CDs/DVDs/ISOs/ or installation media for this model based on the serial number? Is it possible to use a hard drive clone/image from another working EKO 7 machine? Are the software license, probes, presets, or hardware configuration tied to the machine serial number? Does anyone have experience restoring an EKO 7 after the original HDD was lost? Is there any independent biomedical technician, service provider, or parts supplier who can help with recovery media, service software, or a replacement HDD?
