DESCRIPTION

Incubator, Laboratory

CO2 incubator model NU-5710 features heating elements that surround the growth chamber on five sides. An independent door heater helps maintain temperature uniformity and reduce condensation. This direct heat model offers optimal cell growth conditions by producing humidity levels up to 95% and precisely controlling CO2 gas and temperature levels while minimizing potential contamination.

FEATURES

DUAL DECONTAMINATION CYCLES

  • The direct heat technology enables the use of a 145°C dry and 95°C humidified decontamination cycle that can be conveniently run overnight in just 8 hours without removing the CO2 or temperature sensors. The NuTouch control system steps the user through the process with on screen instructions and displays progress throughout each phase of the complete cycle.

CLOSED LOOP HEPA FILTRATION

  • Continual HEPA filtration of chamber air complements periodic high heat decontamination to provide Constant Contamination Control. InVitrocell’s design constantly takes a sample of air from the chamber, routes it through a HEPA filter in a compartment outside that inner chamber, and ultimately returns it to create an ISO Class 5 level of clean air in the interior as well as a slight positive pressure. Inside the InVitrocell, your cell cultures are protected by a multi-tiered defense against contamination.

COVED INTERIOR CORNERS

  • NuAire CO2 incubators are designed to minimize potential hiding places for contamination. Coved corners and a crevice-free interior, which makes it easy to clean.

INFRARED (IR) SENSOR

  • A single source dual wave infrared (IR) sensor controls CO2 levels within the growth chamber to maintain an optimal PH. The wavelengths used are absorbed only by CO2, making the measurements insensitive to other components such as water vapor. Advanced design provides a stable output minimizing drift, and requires less frequent calibrations.
