Flow out of both ends

Has anyone ever experienced the water flow not cycling but flowing out of each end.

Unit is in field , just trying to uncover before servicing.

Thanks.

Monthly cleaning procedure

Does anyone know for the monthly cleaning procedure if there is any alternate cleaning solutions?  The MTA33 Algaecidal solution that they recommend to use is way over priced(like 400 a gallon from stryker).  The manual says to not use bleach due to it causing damage to their heating element.  We have other patient warming units that recommend bleach but this one doesn't for some odd reason.
