Mortara ELI 150 Display is Very Dim

Hi, I have a Mortara ELI 150 and the screen is so dim it has become near impossible to use.

I pulled out the battery and checked the voltage, the battery checks out and is good usable condition still.

Any ideas on how to get the LCD screen to brighten back up? Any settings that could be changed or a reset of the whole machine possibly?

I tried getting into the technician settings, but the screen is so dim I cant see any of the options!

LCD issue

Suddenly, the LCD became very faint.  I can barely see any markings.  The "beeps" work when buttons are pushed. The screens change appropriately with the F1-F6 selectors.  I have never changed the internal battery.
