Battery capacity and battery charge current
I have a MSIII model 2863 with a customer complaining of short battery life. The device charge current is 180mA, which is in spec according to the manual. Batteries charged 24 hours in the device have a very low capacity. Testing the batteries in a Cadex analyzer with charge current set to 180mA, and the batteries never reach full charge. Increasing charge current to 500mA increases battery capacity to 100%. I've found this to be the case on numerous batteries, and they are all R&D. Any ideas?Reply
