This larger capacity cassette provides rapid high volume throughput sterilization with cycles up to four times the speed of common conventional autoclaves. The STATIM’s one-touch keypad offers a choice of four fully automated sterilization programs.

0Replies2 years ago | Statim 5000 R7 resistor opening on power-up I have a client's Statim 5K on my bench that keeps burning up the R7 resistor on the control board. The original discrepancy was an error #25. I found the thermal fuse open, and the solenoid coil only reading 500~ohms. Even after replacing these (and the board resistor (300 ohm) the resistor burns open as soon as the power is switched on. Any ideas on what causes this?Reply |

Use a non-chloride cleanser (i.e. Cameo, Zud or Bar Keepers Friend) and a green scratch pad. At least once a week clean the inside of the lid of the cassette and the inside of the tray and the outside edge of the lower tray. Once a week take some liquid hand soap and lubricate all exposed surfaces of the seal, to keep it soft and supple. After cleaning, rinse and dry, then apply a liberal amount of Stat Dri to the inside metal surfaces. This SciCan product helps the water dry inside the cassette in less than one minute once the cassette is removed from the machine. Clean the outside surface of the Statim with a mild soap and water. The seal in the cassettes will last approximately 800 cycles and if maintained properly could last longer. Reply |
