3RepliesFri Nov 18 2016 | X-ray Scatter Radiation from XR6000 Analogue X-ray (Like VR Silhoutte) Dear Sir, We have GE XR6000 Analogue X-ray (like Silhutte VR) with issue of scatter radiation and tried to remove without much improvement. I mean when an image is x-ray or taken, there will be additional reflection of image outside the collimated area. No problem with image itself, but usually the reflection of another image outside the collimated area. Filters were added, but no significant changes, eventually, new tube was also replaced, with little changes. Though we have not changed the collimator and did not suspect any leakages during x-ray! Images were very quite clear and good except to for the scatter images outside the collimated area. Kindly give us your technical opinion on possible causes and suggested solution to this problem.
