So i'm trying to calibrate the REM, following instructions from the 2004 service manual(not the 1990 with a different REM PCBA and numbered pots. If you've done this before you can see how half-assed these instructions are(and imagine how much i regret this now))anyway, it says to turn R11 for the highest voltage(no mention of direction, ac or dc nor where you're attaching.(I ended up attaching my leads(neg) to the TPgnd1 and (pos)to TP3 after hunting down EREM on a schematic, and monitoring DC) next turn r15 counter-clockwise till it's below 4v. Except when i turn counter-clockwise the voltage only goes up, if I try to turn clockwise it goes down, so i get it below 4v, next i move my lead from tp3 to tp5 and i have no voltage reading now, so how am i supposed to turn r15 tills it's above 5? What am I doing wrong(other than throwing it in the trash and selling them something newer

This Force 2 (Dash number 20CEM) will not output any monopolar power higher than 100 Watts. The power settings can be adjusted to the maximum values for each mode on the display (300 - pure cut, 250 - Blend 1, 200 - Blend 2, 150 - Blend 3, 120 - Coag). But when the footpedal or handswitch is activated, the unit will reset the power setting to 100 W, then output power at that setting. The Bipolar mode does not seem to be affected by this. This seems like a setting that needs to be adjusted. Any input is appreciated.
