DESCRIPTION

Defibrillator

The Burdick DC200 performs an automatic safety check of all functions while the patient is readied for emergency care. An audible tone signals completion of the check and readiness of the unit. Less than 9 seconds are needed to reach a maximum charge of 360 joules. Nine other power settings, ranging from five to 300 joules, are available in even less time. The microprocessor-controlled defibrillator delivers a damped Edmark-type wave form. Recovery times from discharge to charge are about 6 seconds for 100 joules and 10 seconds for 360 joules.
