DESCRIPTION

With the M500, Leica changed to a fiberoptic illumination system and added digital electronics.

This system offers a widerfield optics, and the profile of the floorstand is smaller. The Leica M500 is a generation newer than the M690 and uses different technology. This is a good choice for those surgeons that have used this model before and are accustomed to it.

Loose arm holding optics assembly
I need help in removing black handle to give me access to tighten the arm picture enclosed. I have removed two set screws and one of two drive pins. The second pin is a lot tighter than the first. Is it true lacquer was used to seal the pins? Any suggestions will be appreciated.Reply
