[list] Accuracy [*] The system warms fluids automatically to 40 ± 2°C and has redundant sensors to ensure fluid temperature accuracy. [*] The lightweight warmer (9.5 oz) can be placed close to the patient -- allowing less opportunity for fluid-cooling in the IV line. [*] It has a low priming volume (4mL), which reduces waste and improves control over fluid composition. [*] The warmer incorporates a layer that transfers heat effectively and prevents hot spots Mobility [*] When it’s time to move, the cartridge and the IV set are removed from the warming unit only to be reinserted into a warmer in the next area.
