Designed for simplicity of use, the e500 offers direct access to all ventilation controls along with other frequently used functions such as Inspiratory and Expiratory Hold, 3 min Oxygen, Suction Disconnect and Preset Vent Settings. The logical layout of the front panel and smart alarm systems make ventilator setup and training quick and easy. And the self-calibrating, integrated oxygen monitor with alarms, the panel lock, and an internal battery all provide the smooth ventilator management necessary to assure peace of mind. Exclusive to the e500 ventilator, the e500 Graphics Display Monitor features a clear view of diagnostic information with touch-screen ease. In addition to 24 hour trend data, the GDM provides an Event History Log that records the 600 most recent occurances of both alarm violations and changes to ventilator settings. The Wave/Loop Freeze with Cursor function allows the user to gather the analysis of time, pressure, volume or flow at any point in the breath.

2Replies7 years ago | The Graphical unit does not communicate with Gas Delivery unit I have E 500 Unit where the ventilation is perfect but the Graphical unit does not communicate with Gas unit , Have tested the graphicak unit in other known good unit ,the Graphical unit is OK , The connection of the Screen on the back of Gas Delivery unit is OK , Please suggest further action .Reply |

hello. i have a newport e500 mechanical ventilator, it has a alarm shows that I:E is inverted, the ventilator parameters are Vt 500 FV 12 fiO2 0.50 Tl 12 peep 2 and still shows the alarm, i don't know how change inspiratory volumen. I search in many web pages the manual but I don't found anything.. Please help me. Where i can found the manual? Reply |
