The Vivalink AED was unique in that it was one of the first modern AEDs to use a "one button" design by incorporating the power up feature with the opening of the lid cover. SurvivaLink was acquired by Cardiac Science in 2001, who continues to manufacturer similar AEDs under the Powerheart brand name.
