DESCRIPTION

ABI-500CL Automated ABI Vascular Doppler System features an automated cuff selector that also inflates/deflates the cuff. The System automatically calculates ABI (Ankle-Brachial Index), TBI, and segmental calculations to help aid in the diagnosis of peripheral arterial disease (PAD). PAD is a manifestation of systemic atherosclerotic disease that leads to increased mortality, amputations, stroke, and MIs, as well as diminished quality of life. PAD is also expensive, treatment for the initial intervention and first year follow-up costs more for PAD than for cardiovascular disease. The ABI-500CL ABI Vascular Doppler is ideal for simple ABI, TBI, and segmental studies. The Vascular Doppler is used to record pulse volume (PVR) waveforms.
