The DU-530 is a simple but great spectrometer that comes with various built-in programs that are easy to use. This system uses a single cell module that that uses a wide variety of cell holders such as, the 1cm standard, 16mm test tube, 5cm and 10cm rectangular and a 50µl microcell. The Beckman DU 530 is a great basic research grade instrument that you’ll never need the operating manual to operate. It uses a Single Cell Module which supports a variety of optional cell holders including the 16mm test tube 1cm standard 5cm and 10cm rectangular turbidity and 50uL microcell . Typical starting configuration is the single cell cuvette holder.
