The KARL STORZ 5.5 mm F.I.V.E. Scope (Flexible Intubation Video Endoscope) represents the next step toward a “complete airway management solution.” This lightweight, portable video solution combines a video chip and LED light source at the distal tip so there is no need to buy separate components, such as a CCU, camera head, light cable and light source. The convenient 4:3 rectangular image format provides a clear overview of the working area, offering a fullscreen image with no Moiré effect. The flexible scope maneuvers around challenging anatomy and obstructions to access the vocal cords. The F.I.V.E. can also be connected directly to the KARL STORZ CMAC® monitor for a solution that enables immediate changeover to the video laryngoscope if required.
